Welcoming the New Year is a great time to start fresh and make sure your home is neat and organized. As my grandma used to say, how you bring in the new year will set the stage for your habits and patterns throughout the year, so start strong. Here is a quick list of 10 things to clean before the New Year comes in.

Clean your entryway

The entryway of your home sets the stage for the entire house. Studies show that walking into a home with a clean and orderly entryway actually lowers stress and anxiety. It makes sense that if you’re not immediately hit with a reminder of all the things that need to be done when you walk in the door, you will feel more restful and peaceful.

Wash all of your laundry

Gather all the dirty laundry in the house over the next few days and wash, dry and fold it all. Don't go into the new year with a bunch of unclean clothes. Yes, you can use Good Vibes for your laundry too.

Wash all dishes

The last thing we want to repeat all year is having a pile of dirty dishes in the sink. Wash them all, dry them and put them away, then resolve to wash the dishes you use, when you use them to prevent future pile ups.

Clean sinks and tubs

Because nothing makes you feel like you have it all together more than waking up to a clean sink on New Year’s morning. This is a habit we want to repeat for the rest of the year.

Declutter your counters and tabletops

Put the big stuff back where it belongs and put the smaller items in a box until you have time to sort through it. We don’t want to make this a big project, we just want our surfaces to be cleared for the New Year.

Wipe down all your surfaces

Once you have them cleared of clutter, wipe them down with your favorite scent of Good Vibes All Purpose Cleanerbecause it’s Good Vibes Only all 2023 baby!

Wipe down door frames in high traffic areas

It’s amazing how dirt accumulates on door frames so quickly. It’s even more amazing how much we overlook it. Give your door frames a thorough inspection and wipe down the ones that need cleaning.

Vacuum and mop floors

Sweep all your troubles out the back door and clean your floors with diluted Good Vibes APC. If you have carpet, vacuum up the dust and dirt, then empty the vacuum bag. Out with the old and in with the new.

Clean out the fridge

Get rid of all the food in the fridge that is more than three days old. Throw out anything that is expired. Quickly wipe down your shelves and doors to clean up any messes. Read this articlefor a deep cleaning of the fridge.

Remove trash

Take all the trash out of the house and place it in the trash bins outside.

Happy New Year. May your 2023 be filled with good times, plenty of money and clean, orderly living spaces. 🥂

Thank you for the list. I am actually starting my spring cleaning early, and this was helpful. I really like using your products. It not only cleans my home, it smells clean too without being overwhelming and without harsh chemicals

Thank you @Alice. We definitely have plans to bring more great products to market, but we’re focused on scaling first. We need a bigger facility to produce all the things we plan to create.

So that’s our focus 2023. Fundraising and scaling the operation so we can continue to innovate. Thank you so much for your continued support. 🙏🏽💚

I bought the sample kit when you first started your internet store It smells lovely and it lasts long. I want to ask when you will start a spray for air freshening even though this form works well also when will you make a bath form ? I would like to wash my husband with these healing oils since he is bed bound. Thank you
