Welcome to The Peaceful Home blog and thank you for stopping by.  As the founder of Good Vibes All Purpose Cleaner, my why has always been to add value to our customer's lives by inspiring, motivating and helping them create beautiful, peaceful spaces.  Those of you who have been following us on social media know that our pages are filled with cleaning tips, motivational cleaning quotes and inspirational home styling images. I even started a cleaning  and decluttering challenge group on Facebook last year.  However, the issue with social media is one, I don't own it and two, it's challenging to keep up with.  So, I came up with this bright idea to start a blog and put all of this good content in one place... and then I sat on the idea for like a year, 😂.  Finally, the time has come for me to launch this blog. As the subtitle suggests, the content you will find on The Peaceful Home Blog will be focused on cleaning, decluttering and organizing your spaces.

 Welcome

Decluttering is the first step in creating a peaceful home.  The longer we live in a home the more stuff we accumulate and the less space we have to store it.  When you start tripping over the stuff to get from one room to another, that’s when you know its time to declutter.  Decluttering is, essentially, evaluating your stuff and deciding what to do with it.  The reason it's so hard is because we don't know where or how to start and because we have an emotional attachment to our belongings.  My goal is to walk you through this process and remove the attachment so you can get your stuff out of your way without having to pay a monthly storage fee for sh*t you never see or use 😜.

Once we have removed everything from a space or surface, the next step is to clean it because, let's face it, we can't clean what we can't see. This part will be easy breezy with Good Vibes All Purpose Cleaner. Good Vibes was made to inspire you to clean! The Peaceful Home blog will be full of helpful tips for using Good Vibes APC to clean just about everything.  Routine cleaning is also the way we maintain a peaceful home and I'll be giving you the tools, guidelines and tasks to help you do that as well.

So, you have let go of what no longer serves you and you cleaned your uncovered spaces with Good Vibes All Purpose Cleaner.  Finally, its time to organize the beautiful and useful, items you have decided to keep.  I will share tips and tools to help you keep all of your necessary stuff organized and enhance the beauty of your space using the things you adore.

You can expect to see a new blog post every week on Thursday. Sign up for our text messaging list and follow us on Instagram or Facebook, so you'll never miss a post.  Here are two articles to get you started here and here.

I so look forward to engaging with you in this way. What are some topics you would like for me to address on this blog?

Sometimes cleaning up can seem like such a daunting task, especially if you haven't done it in a while. As dust, dirt and clutter start to pile, it becomes more and more challenging to clean it up. You often don't know where to start and it seems like It will take forever to get it all done.

While summer cleaning shouldn't have to be as big a job as our spring cleaning tasks were, it is the perfect time for a quick reset...
